As part of the Apollo 11 Lunar Mission, humans first set foot on the Moon on July 20, 1969. To commemorate this remarkable achievement, International Moon Day was celebrated on July 18, 2024. The celebration included a Planetarium show where students had the wonderful opportunity to observe celestial objects, galaxies, the universe, extinct giants that roamed the Earth millions of years ago, stages of human evolution, technological advancements in rocket launching, and much more.
